This is a wonderful Plein air piece done in Kaslo, BC The light playing on the moss was absolutely wonderful. The rocks, so aged, were mystical showing a regality of centuries watching and the tree not as old, showing its' strength and a almost a wisdom. Truly a mystical place. On the light side of things stand there, painting this, a bunch of ants attacked me...not once but twice. Needless to say I moved a couple of times then quickly finished up.
